The Amazing Schools Project

Building a community through education

Quite some way lays behind us and still even more is to come. Now it is time to enter the net.

For the past two weeks I have been collecting pictures of the project for this webpage from the past year and it was quite surprising, even for myself, of how we started and where we have come so far. Now the major framework of the website is live and I will keep on editing, whenever my time, my job, my family and my other duties allow.

Forgive me mistakes in spelling, coding, linking and so on, or even better, drop me a mail if you find something could be done better.

Using the blog, step by step I want to look back at the single steps we took already  but even more, I want to give you the latest updates to our project.

You may find this quite normal, but in fact if you think about it, well it is quite amazing, since I am sitting in Dubai, mentoring a project that is 8520 km away from me in rural Nigeria.

So I will take you on a journey using the net, understanding the rural area of Dutsen- Wai, the customs of the Haussa and Fulani tribe, the challenges of traditional versus modern teaching and even the very hands on challenges that come along the way.

Feel free to ask questions, comment if you like or even better: join in and support!
